1. Introduction
Welcome to JobsHub(“we,” “us,” or “our”) — a freelance talent marketplace that connects clients worldwide with skilled Filipino freelancers. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the JobsHub website, applications, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2. Eligibility
To use our Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- If registering as a talent: reside in the Philippines
- If registering as a client: have a valid business or personal need for freelance services
- Have a valid, active email address
- Not have been previously banned or suspended from JobsHub
- Agree to these Terms in full
3. Account Registration
To access most features, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
- Keep your account information up to date at all times
- Keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party
- Notify us immediately at info@jobshub.ph of any unauthorized access to your account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You may not create more than one account per role (talent or employer). Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
4. Platform Rules
JobsHub operates on a set of core principles that all users must respect:
No Bidding
Employers post jobs and talents apply directly — there is no bidding or competitive pricing. Attempting to conduct bid-like solicitations is prohibited.
Fair Rotation
Talent profiles are surfaced to employers using a score-weighted fair rotation algorithm. Numeric scores are never displayed to users. Attempting to manipulate rotation results (e.g., fake reviews, profile keyword stuffing) is prohibited.
No Commission on Talent Earnings
JobsHub charges zero commissions on freelancer earnings. Talents keep 100% of what employers pay them. All platform fees are borne by employers through subscription plans.
Ambassador Program
JobsHub supports a maximum of 10 active ambassadors at any time. Ambassador status is earned, not purchased, and may be revoked for violations of these Terms. Referral points earned through the program are non-transferable and hold no monetary value.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
For Talent (Freelancers)
For Employers
Employers access JobsHub features through subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree that:
- Fees are charged according to the plan selected at the time of purchase. Current pricing is available on our Pricing page.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact info@jobshub.ph within 7 days of a charge to request a review
- JobsHub reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days’ notice
6. Intellectual Property
The JobsHub platform — including its design, code, logo, and original content — is owned by JobsHub and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your content: You retain ownership of any content you upload or create (e.g., portfolio work, profile descriptions). By posting content on JobsHub, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.
Work product: Intellectual property rights for work delivered by a freelancer to an employer are governed by the private agreement between those parties. JobsHub is not a party to those agreements and assumes no liability for IP disputes arising from them.
7. User Conduct
You agree to use our Services lawfully and in a manner consistent with these Terms. The following are expressly prohibited:
- Using the Services in violation of any applicable Philippine law or regulation
- Impersonating any person, company, or entity
- Posting false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Harassing, threatening, or harming other users
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
- Using automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from JobsHub
- Circumventing or manipulating the platform's fair rotation system
- Sending unsolicited commercial communications to other users
- Uploading malicious code, viruses, or other harmful content
- Taking jobs or engaging freelancers off-platform to avoid supporting the ecosystem that enables free access for talent
8. Disputes
JobsHub is a platform that facilitates connections between employers and freelancers. We are not a party to any contracts, deliverables, or work agreements between users.
If you have a dispute with another user, we encourage you to resolve it directly and in good faith. While we may, at our sole discretion, help facilitate communication between parties, we are under no obligation to intervene in or resolve private disputes.
Any disputes arising from these Terms between you and JobsHub shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the appropriate courts in the Philippines (see Section 12).
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@jobshub.ph or through your account settings.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms or our platform rules
- Your account is associated with fraudulent or harmful activity
- Continued operation of your account poses a risk to other users or the platform
- We are required to do so by law or regulation
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Any active employer subscriptions will not be automatically refunded unless otherwise required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. JobsHub does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation of the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted under Philippine law, JobsHub shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from third-party actions or services
- Disputes, non-performance, or fraud between employers and freelancers
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to JobsHub in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page
- Send an email notification to registered users where required
- Post a notice on the platform for significant changes
Your continued use of the Services after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Metro Manila, Philippines, and you irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
